Reporting directly to the Chief Nursing Officer, the RN Hospital Risk Manager will frequently collaborate with the Chief Medical Officer and Chief Compliance Officer to coordinate the medical staff peer review process. The RN Hospital Risk Manager will also work with nursing departmental leadership.
The RN Hospital Risk Manager will report, investigate, analyze, and maintain records for all incidents and risk events that occur at the hospital. The RN Hospital Risk Manager will plan and manage a hospital-wide program for loss prevention. The RN Hospital Risk Manager will also conduct Risk Management education programs and analyse patterns that could result in compensable events. The RN Hospital Risk Manager will also set annual Risk Management goals and be held accountable for results on an annual basis.
